Apply to use Ubonile as an investigating officer

A case number or a uniform doesn't open anything here, because either can be stolen. This is how we check you. It involves people, so it isn't instant.

   You tell us your station, name, rank, force number and work email

   A verifier at Ubonile phones your station on its number in the SAPS directory. We never use a number you give us for this

   If the station confirms you, we email you a private link. Using it proves you hold that mailbox. Without a saps.gov.za mailbox, your station commander must also confirm you

   You set a password and an authenticator app, and confirm your details

   A second person at Ubonile approves you. It can't be the person who phoned

After that, access is per case, every view is logged, and the requester sees when evidence is first opened. If you already got an invitation by email, use the link in it. You don't need to apply.
